Art Workshop offers a series of creative courses in painting, drawing, art making, writing (fiction, nonfiction, memoir, essay), culinary arts, and Italian language.
Art Workshop International celebrates its 34th year in Italy. Under the direction of Edith Isaac-Rose, Bea Kreloff, and Chris Spencer artists and writers are invited to join committed adults in an atmosphere of serious study and enjoyable play.
Past teachers and visiting artists include Dorothy Allison, Michael Cunningham, Marilyn French, Vivian Gornick, Maxine Hong Kingston, Tony Kushner, Frank McCourt, and Grace Paley.
Classes are five days a week with two days off for day trips or short-term travel
